For anyone who wants more than one Stars puzzle a day

If you play Stars on Inkwell Games, you already know the rules here: two stars in every row, every column and every outlined region, and two stars can never touch, not even at a corner. The board above is today's. When you finish it, there are many more below, all free.

The difficulty follows a familiar curve: Monday and Tuesday are easy, Wednesday to Friday are medium, and the weekend is hard. This puzzle is also known as Star Battle, which is the name to search for if you want to find more of it.

How to play this Stars puzzle game

  1. Place two stars in every row and every column.
  2. Place two stars in every outlined region.
  3. Stars can't touch, not even diagonally.

Every board has exactly one solution, and logic alone will get you there. Stuck? The Hint button shows the next move and explains why it works, and the strategy guide covers every technique.
