About 8×8 Star Battle

The 8×8 board keeps the one-star rule and adds space. Eight stars, eight regions, and enough room that you need to look at how regions and lines overlap instead of just clearing neighbours. If you play Queens on LinkedIn, these are the same rules.

This is the level where you start using techniques: spotting a region that sits inside one line, or cells that every option for a region would block. Most players stay here until they can finish a hard 8×8 without a hint.

New to the rules? Read how to play, or sharpen up with the strategy guide. Other levels: Beginner 5×5, Advanced 10×10, Expert 14×14.
