Easy
Solved with direct moves: clearing neighbours and counting the cells left.
Medium
Adds moves that look across a line: regions that lock a row or column.
Hard
Needs counting across groups of lines, and sometimes following a move through to its end.
About 14×14 Star Battle
The 14×14 with three stars per line is the long game: 42 stars and fourteen regions. No star does much on its own here, so you make progress by counting across groups of lines and working out which regions must fill them.
Expect a session rather than a coffee break. Every puzzle still has exactly one solution and can be finished with logic alone, so if you feel stuck, the next move is on the board. Hints will show you where to look and explain why.
