KrazyDad is the home of Jim Bumgardner, who also supplies the Two Not Touch puzzles to The New York Times. If you want to print a stack of puzzles or work through a book, start here. The tutorials are very good, and there is a tough Diabolical collection for when the normal ones get easy.
Puzzle Baron Star Battle
Puzzle Baron is built around competition, with a timer, high score tables and a forum. It also has Hex grids, which you won't find on most sites, and sizes up to 17×17.

puzzle-star-battle.com has the widest range: Hard and Shapeless versions, plus daily, weekly and monthly specials with up to six stars per line. It is available in many languages and has a Hall of Fame.

We focus on a calm daily habit. There is a board for each of four sizes every day, hints that explain the move, no ads and no account. When you finish a puzzle, the board goes dark and your stars become a constellation you can keep. We don't have printable puzzles, leaderboards or Hex grids.
