A free Queens game online, with no limit

If you know the Queens puzzle from LinkedIn, you already know this game. Place one piece in every row, column and region, and never let two pieces touch, not even at a corner. We use stars instead of crowns, because this puzzle is older than its famous cousin: it has been played as Star Battle since 2003.

The board above is today's. When you finish it, there are more below, so you never have to wait until tomorrow. Stuck? The Hint button shows the next logical move and explains why it works.

How to play Queens

  1. Put one star in every row and every column.
  2. Put one star in every outlined region.
  3. Stars can never touch, not even diagonally.

Tap a cell to place a star, and mark cells you have ruled out. Every board has exactly one solution, and you can reach it with logic alone. For more help, read our strategy guide.
